Reishi is a glossy bracket fungus that grows on deciduous trees. Lion's mane is an edible mushroom with long, hanging spines. Cordyceps sinensis occurs naturally on the Tibetan Plateau. Chaga grows mainly on birch trees. Polysaccharides are carbohydrates made of long sugar chains; the four extracts are standardised to that content.
